UK Border Operating Processes 2022 - DFDS Ferry

From 1 January 2022, you will no longer be able to delay making import customs declarations under the Staged Customs Controls rules that have applied during 2021. 

Most customers will have to make declarations and pay relevant tariffs at the point of import.

In addition, pre-notification requirements will be required for products of animal origin (POAO), animal by-products (ABP), and high-risk food not of animal origin (HRFNAO). This must be done using the UK IT system known as IPAFFS.
